Privacy Policy

When creating the account and building your portfolio, we collect:

• Email address and login credentials (password kept in hash form by Supabase, or Google account if you choose this option).
• Public profile information: name, username, photo, banner, biography, profession, skills, software, languages, country, availability, external links (site, networks, showreel, CV).
• Discovery preferences chosen at registration: types of content, genres, professions followed, objectives on the platform.

Your email is never displayed publicly. Discovery preferences are only used to personalize your recommendations.

If you choose this option when available, Google transmits your Google ID, email address, and basic profile information, such as your name and photo, to our Supabase authentication service. This information allows us to identify you, associate your connection with your Framely account and complete your profile.

Framely does not request access to your Gmail messages, contacts or Google Drive documents. The information received remains subject to the visibility rules of your account: your email address is private, while the name and photo of your public profile may be visible to visitors.

• Files you send: videos, posters, banners, portfolio images, subtitles, CV in PDF.
• Associated metadata: title, synopsis, genre, duration, year, country, language, software, credits and team.
• These files are stored on our hosting infrastructure and served via a delivery network.
• An unpublished film remains private and visible to you only; a published film, as well as its credits, is public.

We save your likes, ratings, comments, saved movies, subscriptions, applications, talent recommendations and private messages because they make the product work. Private messages are only accessible to their sender and recipient. We also count views of movies and offers, in aggregate form.

Your preference is private: receive all scheduled alerts, only important events, or no emails. You can change it from the Notifications page. A message that has already been read does not trigger a reminder. Emails contain an alert and a link to Framely, never the text of a private message. The shipment is currently in preparation and depends on the activation of the Brevo service.

Professional references refer to the sites of their authors. Their images are loaded from the publishers' sites, which can thus receive your IP address. Theme images also come from Unsplash; fallback illustrations are created for Framely. External short films are presented with their source and credits: their presence does not transfer any right of reuse.

The YouTube player is loaded only when you choose to watch a short film, via youtube-nocookie.com. This activation transmits in particular your IP address to the reader supplier; its own confidentiality rules then apply.

• Login session: The tokens needed to stay logged in are kept in your browser's local storage by Supabase.
• Other settings in local storage: Discovery preferences chosen before account creation. Animations respect your device's motion reduction setting.
• Aggregated audience measurement: number of visits and readings, without advertising profiling.
• Framely does not sell your data or place advertising cookies. External drives are also subject to their provider's rules.

• Audience: profile, published films, credits, published portfolio pieces, comments, average ratings.
• Private: e-mail, messages, drafts, unpublished films, saved offers, content of your applications (visible only to the recruiter concerned).

Cloudflare hosts the site and distributes its content. Supabase hosts the database, authentication and files. Google intervenes when you choose to log in with your Google account. Brevo is designed for email alerts: after activation, the service will receive the recipient's address and the generic alert necessary for sending, without private message content.

Your data is kept as long as your account exists. When deleted, profile, films and files are removed; backup copies are purged within 30 days. Certain elements necessary for proof of recruitment exchanges may be kept longer if required by law.

You can view, correct or delete your information from your account settings, remove a film from publication at any time, request a copy of your data or completely delete your account. For any request relating to your data, write to us from the email address associated with your account at framely.supportdev@gmail.com.
